Man, oh man! You do not even know the excitement I am feeling writing this just knowing I am about to be share this AHH-MAZING wedding with all of you!
We loved Kim and Tim from the very first moment we met them! We talked for hours, sharing stories from the past and learning all about their incredible love story. Seeing them marry each other was beautiful because you can just see and feel how deep their love is for one another. Documenting their wedding day was a dream and I know we have made lifelong friends!
Okay, okay onto all the fancy details 🙂 The minute I heard blush, gold and ivory accents, my heart sung! Upon our arrival, Kim and her bridesmaids were all in matching monogrammed robes, drinking mimosas and getting all dolled up. The room was full of laughter (and hairspray) as everyone got ready for Kim and Tim’s big day! I started off photographing Kim’s details.. a pair of diamond crusted Badgley Mischka heels, a ruffly blush clutch, the cutest embroidered hanky, Chloe perfume AND a dollar bill! Not just any ordinary dollar bill! This one was given to her by her Grandfather on the day she was born to put towards her wedding day and Kim has held onto it all this time…so sweet!
They gifted their bridal party and parents with the most sentimental gifts. The tears were flowing!! Happy ones of course 🙂 Kim totally surprised Tim with a series of gifts that ended with him receiving a PRS guitar! He was in shock and his reaction was seriously priceless. Come to find out, Tim had built Kim a bookcase (as seen at the reception) because she had fallen in love with a piece of furniture she had seen elsewhere that she wanted to use at their wedding to display pictures of their family. He did a fab job and it was so thoughtful!
The bridesmaids wore an array of gold sparkly gowns from Adrianna Papell, Joanna August and Donna Morgan..they looked so good! Kim’s dress (from Garnish Boutique) was elegant and timeless. Doesn’t she look stunning? They opted to save their first look for the aisle, and boy did they light up when they saw each other for the first time! Their ceremony and reception was held at the most rustic, chic venue called the Mt. Washington Dye House in Baltimore, Maryland. It is drop dead gorgeous! It was beautifully designed and styled by Diana and LynnAaron of Eventi. Think endless amounts of candles, flowers, homemade jams and butter, wooden farm tables and chairs, and tons of glowing Edison bulbs. Details galore = Very Happy Photographer.
The night went off without a hitch! I truly think Kim and Tim had the wedding they had always dreamed of! I wish we could hit repeat!!!! Over and over, again!
