Did you ever wonder who throws the most incredible of first birthday parties?? The answer would be..THIS FAMILY 😀 (maybe the Kardashian’s as well, but I wasn’t invited to North’s party, so I can’t comment).
My best friend, Regina, asked me to capture this special event in Nolan’s life, as a first birthday in their culture is considered a celebration of many milestones! Not only is he one, healthy and happy, but the parents successfully made it through a whole year of sleepless nights, diapers, around the clock feedings and everything else under the sun that raising a little nugget brings!
She told me that the theme was going to be based on Nolan’s favorite Disney show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which is now ironically my daughters favorite show as well. Nolan lights up every time the “Hot Dog” song comes on and Mickey and his gang dance around. It is so cute! I was thinking that yes there would be balloons, a cake, etc, but this party was loaded with details and decor! Even a real Mickey Mouse!! For a photographer…this is very very exciting! It is all in the details 🙂 Totally Pinterest worthy!
This first birthday party was nothing short of a good time! It was full of love, laughter, memories, toasts, food (and more food), drinks, music, dancing and lots and lots of FUN! Traks, you know how to do it right! You love your baby boy more than life itself and it shows. Nolan is super lucky to have been born into one of the best families I know. I am excited to share many more years of celebrations with all of you!
